I thought I was on top of the world. From highschool, through undergraduate and tastefully at work.

How wrong I was.

Cheap electrons can now do more work than I can—not just cheaply, but at a cost lower by an order of magnitude.

The age where effort alone guaranteed value is over. Intelligence, once scarce, has become abundant. Computation, once expensive, is now almost free.

The tide has changed.

And the sea does not negotiate.

Licha ya meli kuwa ndefu, uwe omoni ama kwenye tenzi, mawimbi yatakuweka ngamani.

No ship is too large. No captain is too experienced. No position is too secure.

When the waves come, they humble everyone.

Be careful.

Adapt before the ocean teaches you.

Because history has never been kind to those who mistake temporary advantage for permanent supremacy. Just do not be guilty of what everyone does. Learn and master it before it defines you.
